ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
ABOUT THE ROLE
UNITY™ Tactical is seeking a talented and motivated assembly technician to prepare and assemble components to build and box finished products. We seek and hire friendly, fun individuals who are smart and driven. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult production schedule to prepare work area and equipment.
- Gather components needed to meet production schedules.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Follow technical instructions and assemble components.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Develop deep knowledge and understanding of the UNITY Tactical brand, its business operations, products and customer-base.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Box and package finished products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Constant communication with team members.
- Project management and ability to work on a deadline.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read equipment manuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Resourcefulness.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
- Eagerness to learn and accept challenges.
- Ability to relocate and/or commute daily to Broussard, LA 70518.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
